- ise i in windows 7 (usb cable issues)
I recently fixed my laptop from a problem I had after there was an update with Windows 10 was installed in my laptop. I resetted it and everything worked fine. After I had to restart my laptop again because I couldn't install Adobe Flash and after I logged in, I noticed a pop up saying "Updates were installed". I thought nothing of it and continued to click on Google Chrome to see that the problem I had before I resetted it had came back.
Annoyed and frustrated, I did what worked the first time and tried to reset it again, and there was an error message saying that the reset didn't work, I tried resetting one more time, and the same message came across my screen.
Still frustrated I tried to restart my laptop. Keeping my eyes closed and crossing my fingers, I was hoping that my laptop would come through for me. I finally opened my eyes to see a black screen with white letters saying, "An operating system wasn't found. Try disconnecting any drives that don't contain an operating system.
Hoping it'll finally work, a few seconds later I see the same message. I tried pressing the same keys a number of times and nothing has changed. My laptop doesn't have any other drives and I got this laptop from a friend, therefore I don't have any of the CDs that probably came with it and there would be no way I could get them.
If anyone has any suggestions hopefully cost free that could possibly save my laptop, I would really appreciate it. This thread is locked.
